IoS Happy List 2012

The independent published this Sunday its fifth annual happy List. Over more than 100 people are chosen to volunteer. Those people will raise money for people that are disabled. This Happy list started five years ago. One of the volunteers is a 91 year old blind woman who helps raising money for charity by wing walking. This woman got blind on her wedding day 47 years ago. The 100 volunteers  are chosen by results  of weeks of researches, social media, and scores of nominations from individuals and organisations. They want to give something back to people to make Britain a happy environment for them.

It is really great that so many people are volunteering. To make Britain for more people a happy place to live, to make life easier for disabled people. It is very special what they are doing for other people. They have to try to make the list bigger so that they can help more disabled people. Maybe they can make another list where people can sign themselves as a volunteer instead of choosing them. I think that the other countries have to look at this great project and try to do the same, because there are so many people in this world who need help. I believe that if you do someone good for someone else that god will help you when you need it!
