Boy denies rape in Edinburgh school toilet
A 14 year old boy is accused of raping a girl
by grabbing her arm, locking the door
after pulling her into the toilet and pushing her on the floor. This happened
at an Edinburgh secondary school on 9 February last year. The boy and the girl
were both 13 years old when this happened. advocate Matthew Auchinloss told the
High Court in Edinburgh that the boy denied the charge. He claims that nothing
happened without the consent of the girl. The lawyer wants more time to prepare
for the trial. The boy has to go back to court next month.
I don't really know what to
think about this. This really is a nightmare for every girl. It is possible that the girl is lying and that
she was not forced in to do all these things, but on the other hand why would
she lie about something like being raped. I don't believe that a 13 year old
girl can lie about something like this. It is very difficult I think to prove
whether the boy has raped her or not, because it is not something what happened
yesterday. This happened a year ago. How can a boy at the age of 13 rape a
girl?
Why are they discussing this after one year? I also believe it is hard to figure out who is right and who is wrong, because its her word against his and there is no one else who has seen any of this. They could take tests to see which one of them is lying, i hope that they will found it out in a way.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI think the girl probably just raped the boy! No just kidding, how come if it was a 'rape' no one heard them? How come she didn't beat him up while he was pulling her arm? How come she didn't scream? So many questions which we don't have the answers for. I think it wasn't a rape just a silly mood they were in and did stupid things that 13-year-old children aren't supposed to do.
